Albion changed some of Flarune’s formula in AW2025.
I got a sample bottle for Albion Flarune Serum in Total, let me share how I felt.
It is runny product, not bad for late Summer/ early Autumn, it is still almost 30C degrees in Oct!!!
But it is getting drier and colder soon, I know it will be not enough for moisturizing my face. I feel it is light product and smooth to spread on my face. Probably I should try “Flatune Koku Melty Cream” alternatively. I NEVER say it is good for oil prone.
Checking what Japanese skin care freaks are saying:
Overall, seems to agree on a few key points
Texture; Although the serum feels a bit thick when first applied, many users report that it spreads easily and sinks into the skin smoothly. Some were surprised by how lightweight it actually felt once absorbed — I agree with it, making it a good option for both morning and evening routines without causing stickiness or buildup
As for effects, people mention a sense of increased hydration and softness in their skin after use. A few users said their cheeks felt slightly plumper or firmer, and some even noticed a small improvement in the appearance of pores. That said, most reviewers seem cautious about making bold claims, especially after only a few days of use. As many mentioned, you would be still waiting to see more visible results over time.
When it comes to moisturizing, feedback is generally positive. The serum seems to help prevent dryness, and several users said their skin felt smoother and more comfortable throughout the day. However, a few reviews suggested that people with very dry skin might want to layer it with a richer moisturizer
The scent of the serum—a mix of herbal and slightly spicy notes—received mixed reactions. Some users really enjoyed it, saying it added a calming touch to their skincare routine, while others felt it was more of a neutral point.
I also say, Albion products are not for perfume prone.
All in all, the Serum in Total is seen as a gentle, easy-to-use serum with a pleasant texture and solid hydrating effects. It’s not a miracle worker, at least not right away, but it fits well into a daily routine—especially for those looking for a lightweight serum that won’t irritate their skin.
