Shiseido Anessa Perfect UV Mild Milk a is an oily sunscreen, but no sting

In SS2020, Shiseido changed the formula of Shiseido Anessa Perfect UV Sunscreen Mild Milk  to Shiseido Anessa Perfect UV Sunscreen Mild Milk a.

Unlike the previous formula, we are able to deal this formula of 2020.

In 2020, they do not release the small bottles, I bought the full size. I have many sunscreens now, I may use them in one entire year :).

Please pay attention to find out “a”

I know still some stores are selling the old formula. We really pay attention to buy current formula.

In the package design of the formula of 2020 are here. Please check whether there are “Shiseido Anessa Perfect UV Milk Milk a” or not. It will be described on the package back side.

There are also the bottles design. Please check there are “a” or not, it will be described on the back of the bottle.

Please pay attention, when you find small bottle of the orange-pink, they may be the formula of 2018. When you find

Generally to say, I feel it is not quite big difference between the previous formula of 2018.

The formula of 2017 (the first generation of the “Mild” line) was not pretty good reputation because it made our skin turning whitener, oily, and somehow stinky (the smell of the ingredients). It was Improved in the formula of 2018. I feel the user experience is not quite big different between 2018 and 2020.

What is Mild Line?

Anessa has good reputation among Japanese almost 2 decades, and there are many sunscreens with more affordable price, but I repeated this brand of Anessa. I mostly repeated “Anessa for Baby”. I think they changed the formula of “Anessa for Baby” to this “Mild” line.

Shiseido claims that there are no alcohol, no perfume, no mineral oil, and no artificial colors in “mild” line. This is designed for sensitive skin, and good for babies and kids. However it is also super waterproof, with Aqua Booster effect, and sand proof effect.

Fantastic, if they are truly truth. I am a person who does not believe cosmetic companies claims.

How I felt with comparing Moisture UV Mild Milk a

Generally, I feel Perfect UV Mild Milk a is a greasy texture. Please also check here: Anessa Moisture UV Mild Milk a.

Here is the comparison of this Shiseido Anessa Perfect UV Sunscreen Mild Milk a and Kanebo Allie Extra UV Gel N.

Anessa Allie

The texture of “Anessa Milk” is watery.

There were used to be something feint smell in Anessa the formula of 2017, it was disappeared in the formula is 2018, also in the formula of 2020, there are nothing smelling, I feel.

However, the texture is greasy, it is not changed since the formula of 2017&2018&2020. I feel it is somehow unacceptable, it may be because I am comparing with Allie.

This is mild line, I did not hesitate to apply this on my face.

And on my face of sensitive skin, I did not feel anything irritation with both Allie Extra UV Gel N and this Anessa Perfect UV Mild Milks a, please note that my current skin condition is slightly damaged (it is usual in Spring). In the Anessa formula of 2017, I could use while my skin was super damaged without stinging.

I never say it is good for all of the damaged skin, PLEASE pay attention using sunscreens when you feel your skin is damaged.

Comparing the two Super Waterproof sunscreens of Allie and Anessa, I think they are not quite big difference.

Allie is Friction Proof, and seems this formula of 2020, Anessa is also a kind of Friction Proof, hope both works well! I often get damaged my clothes bags and wearing by sunscreens!

I felt this is a really greasy sunscreen, about the same as last formula .

When I apply this Anessa and Allie on my face, I felt Anessa is QUITE oily, and it is getting smoother after few mins. If you are an oil prone, I guess this Anessa is not for you.

When I use this sunscreen as a primer, it must be with powder foundation.

Totally to say, it is a good product, but a little bit oily.
