Ignis is a branch brand of Albion.
In April 2020, they changed the full formula of Ignis.
Previously, there was “VQ”, now there is “Whitening Premium” that is the highest line for Ignis. I got some samples of Ignis Whitening Premium Milk, I tell about it with comparing with other milks.
Albion Skin Care Method
If you are not familiar with Albion/ Ignis/ Cosme Decorte skincare method, please check in here: Albion Skin Care Method. Shortly to say, the method is the unique: Milk (Emulsion) first, lotion second. Third is something (creams or oils etc…) wrapping your face.
Albion (and their bunch) recommend to use milks by cottons. It is because surface area, and also means removing your dirt on your face what you could not remove by your face wash.
In person, I like applying their milks by my hands 🙂 I dislike cosmetics are sinking to cottons really quickly. I had tested to write comparing articles with using cottons, but it is not my daily routine. I recommend to “hand press” gently , aka wrapping your face by warm hands after applying.
General Review of Ignis Whitening Premium Milk
Previously, Ignis VQ Milk EX was runny, but in the formula of this Ignis Whitening Premium Milk is not quite runny.
If you are a royal audience of my review, you may know I hate artificial perfumes, but I LOVE herbal scent. I know Albion skin care products well. You can see how I had reviewed. And I KNOW the quality, indeed there is one HUGE problem for me. Yes, perfume. In Albion brand, Excia AL is “acceptable”, Exage is “not for me”, Infinesse is “dislike”, and Exage is “boring”.
I know the perfume of Ignis is much better than Albion brands. This perfume is a kind of herbal, aww, I just imaged medicated western herbals what is good image for me, in person. I know this perfume is rising this price higher, but I accept it. I am believing “feeling” of comfort is also important factor of skin care.
My skin is combination: oilier and super dry, as early Summer :(( I need water and oil on my “desert” zone of cheeks. I feel this emulsion made my face be moisturised with the oil.
When my skin is fine, I never feel anything irritation, but when my skin is super damaged, I felt stinging by previous VQ line, I am afraid of feeling that in the current formulas. It is not only by Ignis, but also water too.
Also, if you are an oil prone, Albion and Ignis are not brand we recommend your using.
Brightening effect
This Ignis Whitening Premium Milk is a medicated. The brightening factor is L Ascorbic Acid 2-Glucoside .
Comparison
When I do the comparison of Albion/ Ignis/ Cosme Decorte milks, I am using whole of the cotton for one side of the face each, when there are full bottles, I use the “regular” quantity of 3 pushes. It means I use double of the quantity they expect to use 😀
I do the comparison when my skin is drying, or tired or something I need “pouring”. There are no problem with applying double of the quantity.
You can change the quantity as you want, and when my skin is well, I use 1-2 pushes for whole of my face, without cottons.
Comparing with Ignis Whitening Milk #2
Guess you may want to know about the difference between new Ignis Whitening Milk.
Both are medicated product, and it is L Ascorbic Acid 2-Glucoside that is the brightening factor for both.
I am not sure whether they are the perfectly the same scent, but I could not find the difference. I like them.
According the BC of Albion, she told me “Whitening Milk” is brightening effect only, and “Whitening Premium Milk” is brightening effect and supplying effect.
It is not quite different from the texture with applying. The slight difference is in the finish. I am feeling the Ignis Whitening Premium Milk is a little bit richer than Whitening Milk #2. And I am feeling Ignis Whitening Milk #2 is more easy to be smoothed and may be absorbed. On that point I like Ignis Whitening Milk #2 more for this season of early Summer. I say again those difference is slightly.
When I use Infinesse or Infinesse White line, I often feel my face line is pulled up, but with using the Ignis Whitening Milk or Ignis Whitening Premium Milk, I did not feel being pulled up.
If you are wondering to buying this Whitening Premium Milk or not, hmm. I am afraid of it is not good as the price. The brightening factor (L Ascorbic Acid 2-Glucoside) is the same with Whitening Milk, and the texture is different, but the difference is slightly.
I am feeling that the Ignis Whitening Milk #2 is more valuable than Ignis Whitening Premium Milk.

Comparing with Albion Infinesse White Whitening Pump Milk
The second comparison is with Infinesse White Whitening Pump Milk, it is also a medicated product, and the brighting factor is the same L Ascorbic Acid 2-Glucoside.
The textures are different: Ignis Premium Milk is more runnier & oilier and Infinesse is more lighter. Please remember Infinesse White Whitening Pump Milk IS oily, if you are an oil prone, Albion is the brand what we recommend to keep your foots away.
Afterward of applying, I am feeling Infinesse side is more smoother, and Ignis side is more oilier.
If you are a repeater of Infinesse White Whitening Pump Milk and satisfied with it, we do not recommend to switch to this Ignis Premium Milk, it will be too much for you.
Comparing with Albion Excia AL Whitening Rich Milk SV
Both of the milks are “brightening” medicated milks. It is the L Ascorbic Acid 2-Glucoside the ingredients for the brightening in Ignis Whitening Premium Milk, and it is Tranexamic acid in Excia Whitening Milk. This is the reason why I repeat Excia. Mine is Excia AL Whitening Rich Milk SV.
According to the BC of Albion, Ignis Whitening Premium is quicker than make your face look bright, but if you want to resolve (in sunny countries like in Japan, tanned skin is “problem”), she recommends to use Excia Whitening Milk.
Let me compare these two.
In the texture, I am feeling both are not quite different for me. I am feeling the Excia Whitening Rich Milk is slightly, slightly richer than Ignis. Fortunately there are no stinging.
Both are oily products, and get smooth soon. Afterward of applying both, my both side of facial surface are smooth.
I like the herbal perfume of Ignis more than Excia. But I kept repeating Excia AL Whitening line, it is only for the ingredients.

Comparing with Cosme Decorte Pytotune Whitening Softener ER
Cosme Decorte by Kose is also the same usage with Albion, Milk first, Lotion second. This “Softer” is a milk. Also, its estimated quantity is 2 pushes, not 3 pushes. I felt the Cosme Decorte is MUCH lighter than this Ignis. In person, I like the scent of Ignis more than this Cosme Decorte Pytotune.
Here is a note that when you feel Albion/ Ignis / Cosme Decorte milks are too rich for you, please change to fewer quantity, and when it is too light for you, please add extra quantity. It is the good thing that you can change the quantity as your skin condition.
